Al Gore will be speaking via webcast tonight.  It doesn’t matter what political party you belong to.  This is about solving our energy crisis and how to be a part of this movement.  I know you may not be interested in getting off the grid or making your electric meter spin backwards ~ BUT

…as real estate agents we have a powerful voice in the building industry and need to be educated on better forms of energy and how to save our buyers and sellers money on rising utility bills.

West Coast Green Conference

The West Coast Green Conference was so much fun!  We were exhibitors with our fabulous booth and definitely unique showcasing our custom web designs.  There were so many innovative products that included sustainable and renewable energy.  We met Paul Donovan from Magnetic Air Cars, it was a show stopper.

The highlight of this convention was Al Gore and Jerry Brown.  We came back recharged and ready to really think about living on this planet without using unnecessary resources.

First Mexcio Eco Broker

John Williams of Re/Max Costabella has taken the first step to becoming Mexico’s first ecobroker.  Buyers are seeking 2nd homes in Mexico and looking for homes and condos that are completely green or retrofitted with environmentally safe products.  We have a beautiful new design for John and will post on his progress.

Earth Fair 2008 

I just discovered this great Earth Fair 2008.  It will be on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Balboa Park.  Says it is the world’s largest annual environmental fair and I didn’t even know this existed.  Check out all the exhibitors, I’ll be there!

Green Prefab and Modular Homes in San Diego

The last firestorm left hundreds of families without a home or their personal belongings.  The resulting aftermath of construction was massive.  Many people opted in for prefab and modular homes in San Diego areas that were leveled by the fires.  I just read an article that talks about green prefab homes.  What a great idea, especially in this market where San Diego is still on the higher end of pricing and permits can be a long and grueling process.
